Wearing layers is the secret to surviving the mid-west weather. I usually opt for 3 and then top the look with an over coat. It is always a good idea to start with a soft and thin full-sleeve fitted t-shirt to keep you comfortable througout the day. I love the pairing of simple denim shirt under my sweaters to make the outfit look more put-together. Plus adds that extra layer of toasty comfort. Sweaters is the play area. I like to go for prints and patterns here. It is usually the star of the outfit and will be seen the most throughout the day.
