Date Night Cozy

Winter Cozy x SP 2Let’s start the week off on a cozy note. I love a snug pair of fashion approved sweats and am happy to say they are still on-trend for winter/spring 2015. You cannot argue with the comfort factor. And when paired with a printed sweater and your favorite pumps, you have a perfect ‘casual date night’ look. You will be cozy and cute whether your plans include hitting up the movie theater or a ‘House of Cards’ marathon on Netflix. Wear these comfy jogger pants with a lighter moto jacket when (or if) the weather warms up. See how I wore them in Fall hereContinue reading

Winterize a flirty skirt

I am already in the mood for spring-like weather. So today with the almost 40 degree weather, I had to dress the way I felt. This look is very fun. This luxe vegan leather skirt can chicify any wardrobe. I adore it best paired with bright colors and statement jewelry.

Don’t limit your skirts to warm weather, pair them with tights and leggings for a twirl-worthy outfit even in the winter months. Add a pair of cute booties to the look and you are stylishly ready to take on the still-chilly-almost-spring-like day.

Valentine’s Weekend Wear

Hello my darlings! I hope you are having the most love-filled Valentine’s weekend. I am keeping things casual and loving this ‘darling’ sweatshirt that I found recently at Nordstrom and at a stellar price! I am also looking forward to dressing it up with a skirt, heels and bright accessories for a night time look.

Darling x Samosa POP 2Sweatshirt: Madison & Berkeley, Shirt: Merona, Denim: F21, Bag: Nila Anthony

A casual and cozy way to adopt the trendy crop top is to layer it over a crisp and classic white button-down shirt. It is also a great way to try out this fun trend if you are not keen on showing off your belly. Works great for me especially after all the sweet valentine treats I devoured yesterday. 🙂 Continue reading

Holiday Style Inspiration – Christmas Ready

Merry Christmas Eve! I am spending it with some of my favorite people in the world – my family. We are having a big brunch party and then packing up for a family vacation. So much fun so little time. I hope you are all tangled up in love this festive season.

For my look today, I am sporting two of my favorite trends of 2013 – midi and animal prints. This skirt is one of top picks in my wardrobe. It is great that it works well in all seasons. Yes my toes were freezing in this look but that problem is usually solved by adding a pair of tights (check out how I wore it in summer here). Also, got myself a new haircut for the upcoming new year. The short length always makes me want to keep smiling and dancing – which is more of what I plan to do in 2014. Continue reading

Holiday Style Inspiration – Day-time Sparkles

Who says sparkles are limited for fancy night-time looks?! I love sequins, shiny things and a little bit of bling in my everyday looks. ‘Tis the season to wear sequins.

Daytime sparkles - Samosa POP

Ever since these pants caught my eye at Nordstrom, I knew I had to have them. It was not enough to just save them for night outs and parties so I ventured into the daytime armed in my shiny sequin pants. The classic chambray shirt is my secret weapon which balances the sparkle of the look while still keeping it festive. I topped the look with a deep purple peacoat to add a pop of color to my outfit’s neutral tones of denim and gold (Yes gold is a neutral this time of the year).
