Summer Solstice

Yellow + stripes x Samosa POP Happy Summer my lovelies! Yesterday I celebrated the official first day of summer (thankfully it even felt like summer) by wearing my happy yellow skirt with a simple striped tee. This year I was lucky enough to get to spend father’s day with my father as they arrived from India just in time for daddy day. This outfit was very playful and the flared skirt was perfect for the day at the local fair. This yellow beauty is a recent gift from my mom. Needless to say she has amazing taste and I am sure I got my love for colors from her. Hope you had a happy weekend celebrating the awesome dads in your lives! Continue reading

Weekend Ready

Polka dots x Samosa POP Happy Casual Friday! I am concluding the week with this fun and flirty polka dot dress. My husband’s family is visiting so this weekend  we plan to take full advantage of the gorgeous weather and spend most of our time outdoors – going for walks, playing on the beach & some family picnics in the park.  I wore this for an afternoon walk along the canal on our way to lunch on a slightly cool & breezy day. Recently, I have become smitten with thrift store shopping. There’s something exciting about walking into the store, not knowing what hidden treasures you might discover. This fun low-waist dress was a recent find and cost less than $20! Even though it’s a more seasonal piece, I was thrilled to add it to my closet. I fell in love with the darling print. Valentine’s Weekend Wear

Hello my darlings! I hope you are having the most love-filled Valentine’s weekend. I am keeping things casual and loving this ‘darling’ sweatshirt that I found recently at Nordstrom and at a stellar price! I am also looking forward to dressing it up with a skirt, heels and bright accessories for a night time look.

Darling x Samosa POP 2Sweatshirt: Madison & Berkeley, Shirt: Merona, Denim: F21, Bag: Nila Anthony

A casual and cozy way to adopt the trendy crop top is to layer it over a crisp and classic white button-down shirt. It is also a great way to try out this fun trend if you are not keen on showing off your belly. Works great for me especially after all the sweet valentine treats I devoured yesterday. 🙂 Continue reading
