Sorry I was MIA for a couple days, as I have been a little sick this week. On my recent western Caribbean cruise, we stopped over in Progreso, Mexico where I had the pleasure to go see the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza – one of the wonders of the world. The historic architecture had so many intriguing stories to share. It was a larger than life experience just being around the beautiful temples and learning about the Mayan culture. We did a detailed tour of the ruins and spent rest of the afternoon shopping the local treasures. The best part of holiday season is spending a lot of time with family. My family is scattered all over the world. That means a lot of traveling for me. While flying across the country I like to be dressed warm and comfortable. I always get cold and sleepy on planes. While I love jetting off for a vacation, I can’t say that I like the dozens of red-eye flights and security checks that I deal with when flying somewhere. To ease the pain of traveling, I like to keep my look simple and easy. There are so many things you can do to cut down on potential security screenings and make the act of traveling more comfortable.
