Red alert

Embellished sweatshirts are a gift from recent runway trends combining two things I love: comfort and sparkly things.  It’s a sweatshirt that’s fancy enough to wear to work with a pencil skirt or out to dinner with some jeans/ cropped pants. This creative combination means: ‘You can have your sweatshirts and wear them out of the house, too!’

Peplum flare

Peplums started making a comeback in 2009 (from it’s debut in the late forties and fifties). But, the revival of the trend has been apparent on the streets since September of 2011. And it’s popularity is increasing by the day. It is one of last year’s most celebrated trend. Labeled to be the most flattering trend in ages, this retro style is staying this year to give us a polished and curve complementing look. I like to channel all-out girlie style with a full skirt and a peplum blouse.
