Are you ready for this holiday season? Dressing for Thanksgiving can be tricky. It is important to dress in an outfit that is cute and comfortable enough to enjoy that extra slice of pie. Even if your family has a casual style, it’s a holiday and you still want to look a little nicer than normal. In light of the goblets of wine and heaping plates of turkey to be enjoyed, here is an outfit idea not too casual, not too fussy, and just right for Turkey Day. Check back for more holiday style inspiration this week. #HolidayFashion Red is the perfect color for the holidays. It gives this comfortable jersey dress, a festive flair. Pair this cozy dress with a matching coat for a chic & relaxed outfit which is way more cheerful than just a jeans and a sweater. You are all set to take on the big (long) family dinner. I opted for a simpler look here, but a monochrome canvas, also gives a chance to wear your favorite jewels. See my last year’s Thanksgiving style here (more red dresses). Continue reading →
You can never go wrong with red. It’s an instant pick-me-up for outfits. You can try it on as a lip-color or go bold with a red dress. The red-hot look has been pretty hot on the runways this season. The color being versatile it works great for a daytime look just as well as for a polished night time outfit. Be bold and enjoy this vibrant color.
Fall is a beautiful season. There is something almost poetic about the falling leaves and the crisp air along with that perfect slice of pumpkin pie in your hand. Yum! I could say it is my favorite season, but then I would be lying. I love them all. There is just something special about them all. My favorite part is noticing the different colors, all these seasons offer. And the seasonal festivities they all bring along. This week my husband and I made an impromptu trip to a local pumpkin patch and bought us some bright pumpkins (couldn’t wait till the coming saturday :)). I am super excited to dive into all the fall-fun this weekend. As you might already know, I have what some might call a deep love fair with ‘red’ (casual red, dressy red, red skirt and red pants) :). I am always finding excuses to wear this darling red dress. It is one of those items in my closet that act as an instant pick-me-up. Know what I mean? You might have a few favorites of your own. The ones you never have to think twice before putting them on. But, with the dropping temperatures, the flowy chiffon dress needed a little something extra. So I decided to work some Samosa POP magic and wear it with a pretty lace sweatshirt and VIOLA my summer dress turned into a fall skirt. 🙂 As simple as that. Go on try it for yourself and create a fun and flirty fall look, perfect for those seasonal dates.
