In March, it is difficult to transition to a lighter wardrobe at such times. Don’t be disheartened. Give your winter coat a spring update by sporting a coat in a lighter pastel color. I love color blocking pastels paired with prints. This outfit looks spring but, still keeps me warm in the Chicagoland climate. Continue reading
I love prints. The funkier the better. This casette print skirt totally makes my day. I want to make it my uniform for this summer. It is so cute. It makes me want to dance all the time. Plus the flare on this skirt adds to it’s playfulness. I plan to spend this weekend with the husband by the lake and I have a feeling this skirt will put a musical spell on him. 🙂 Continue reading
You have seen my love for prints lately. After talking about prints on skirts (here & here), let’s talk about pants. Printed pants are a very cute invention. They are versatile enough for both business and leisure. For a casual look, I pair mine with a simple tee and I am ready for a day of summer fun. I love printed pants. Pick up a pair with an elaborated print on a neutral color for versatility.

This print combination is a personal favorite and hence, a frequently worn option. Here’s a peek at this combination from the spring time. Continue reading
I have noticed when the weather outside is amazing and warm, my outfit of the day tends to get more playful. I am excited for a summer filled with breezy skirts, vibrant prints and evenings at the lake. This skirt is my personal favorite as not only is the A-line universally flattering but the musical print makes me want to dance all the time. And as you already know, I love mixing prints. It just is such a quick trick to create new outfits. I never thought I’d pair this skirt with a striped tee but, it just happened to be, while getting dressed in a rush and I am loving it. Another awesome trick is to borrow items from your man’s closet every now and then. I totally hijacked these awesome sunglasses from my husband claiming that they went perfectly with my outfit. 🙂 (valid reason!!) Continue reading
I love prints. The funkier the better. My current obsession is this ‘hello telephone’ print on this top. This summer be bold, be cheery and wear prints.
