Blush is big this season. I love the versatility of this shade. The soft hue makes a polished work-wear look. This beautiful rose quartz necklace is a fabulous find and is elegant enough to wear to work as well as be a part of your evening look.
Happy October! This month wear a little pink in your week to show your support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and brighten up a fall day. The weather here in Chicago area is still summer-like in October so I am still enjoying some of my bright colored blouses that are commonly seen in warmer weather. But, I am also a huge fan of wearing color in the colder months. It’s always nice to brighten up. This silk blouse is one of my favorites and I tend to wear it in all seasons (Check out these summer and winter looks). The fact that pink is trending for fall at the moment could not make me any happier. I am currently also coveting a fab pink coat like this Zara one. Continue reading
This super cute owl tee is my go-to spring tee. I paired it with these comfy crop jeans and an azalea blazer to add the pop of color that brightens up this grey outfit. Top the look with a fedora and you don’t have to worry about crazy hair days. Continue reading
Happy Throwback Thursday! Today’s look is a frequently worn simple summer outfit of mine. Pink is one of my favorite colors. And I love the feel and look of this jewel-toned breezy blouse. It’s exactly what I was in the mood to put on for a recent sweet lunch date with the husband at our favorite Indian restaurant. Summer friendly and Indian lunch buffet friendly! 🙂
While you may find yourself already falling hard for some of fall’s hottest trends, I wouldn’t count out the high-low maxi just yet. Thought of mostly as a summer favorite, the romantic skirt, which not only frames a fabulous pair of heels but also cascades into a dramatic tail hem, has the power to be a major player in your transitional wardrobe. Typically when it comes to wearing a flowy maxi, the “rules” say to stick with a fitted top to counterbalance the skirt silhouette. But with summer officially over, a new list of rules has emerged. I say it’s time to try the complete opposite and go with something a little more loose and unexpected for fall like a soft embellished sweater.
In the summer time, I prefer soft and easy clothes. Although I am the girl who loves her breezy dresses, I enjoy wearing relaxed silk or linen summer pants in a variety of beautiful prints.
The printed pants are perfect for summer. Swap in flat sandals and you can easily take this outfit to a day of walking around at city the arts fair. Or you are ready for dinner with the way I styled it here. Patio seating please! 🙂
