Are you ready for this holiday season? Dressing for Thanksgiving can be tricky. It is important to dress in an outfit that is cute and comfortable enough to enjoy that extra slice of pie. Even if your family has a casual style, it’s a holiday and you still want to look a little nicer than normal. In light of the goblets of wine and heaping plates of turkey to be enjoyed, here is an outfit idea not too casual, not too fussy, and just right for Turkey Day. Check back for more holiday style inspiration this week. #HolidayFashion Red is the perfect color for the holidays. It gives this comfortable jersey dress, a festive flair. Pair this cozy dress with a matching coat for a chic & relaxed outfit which is way more cheerful than just a jeans and a sweater. You are all set to take on the big (long) family dinner. I opted for a simpler look here, but a monochrome canvas, also gives a chance to wear your favorite jewels. See my last year’s Thanksgiving style here (more red dresses). Continue reading
Happy Monday! Wasn’t the weekend too short as always?!! Thankfully some outfits work equally well from weekend to weekday. This dark light-weight jersey romper perfectly executes that attitude. The truth is I love this comfortable romper. Whether you’re tall, petite or curvy, it works well with all body types. I absolutely love the cuffs at the bottom, and even better I can think of a million different ways to wear it. It makes a great date outfit paired with heels plus a bold lipstick. Or add a structured jacket to make it work friendly. Summer-time does mean fun and light work-wear, right?! I think the next way I wear it will be with a denim shirt tied around my waist and chunky boots. Continue reading
Let’s just say no matter how many pretty dresses I wear I am a sucker for a good fitting denim. You can easily dress it up with a blouse and heels or go for a casual look paired with sandals. I wore this outfit last Sunday for a casual Sunday-Funday date with the husband. I love the pairing of the flowy peasant blouse with the flattering boot cut jean. Perfect outfit to flaunt my new haircut. Continue reading
Happy first day of Spring! In spring, my go to jacket is always a classic trench coat. It is a must-have piece for any closet and pairs well with all outfits. Lately, I am becoming a fan of the flared denim. I am glad this flattering trend is making a come-back. Try one out for yourself. Continue reading
A shift dress can be the most versatile piece of clothing in your closet. I especially love the printed one like this Wayf number. It makes a perfect outfit for family gatherings and friendly meet-ups. It is cozy and comfortable and can also be easily dressed up with accessories. Get yourself one (or more) this season and style it easily for all your occasions : casual or dressy. Continue reading
The winter seems never ending where I live so I am burying myself in bigger and bigger coats. Thankfully oversized coats are all the rage nowadays. I am becoming a fan of this trend in coats as it is perfect for comfortably layering as many layers as your heart desires. A statement coat in a brazen print (but still in a neutral color) is so much more interesting. I love dressing up neutrals like basic black & grey with a little leopard to add some “chic”. It brings this casual off-duty outfit together effortlessly.
I am feeling casual today so my today’s outfit was inspired from one of my favorite and frequently worn winter combinations – Red & GreyBlack and white combo is a fail-proof way to a stylish and trendy outfit. Casually tippy toe into this still-going-strong-trend by using it in your accessories. Continue reading

When the leaves start to fall and the weather gets chilly, one timeless pattern always makes a stylish appearance: plaid! There’s just something about the checkered prints that feels so right for cooler weather. I am delighted to partake in the trend every year. This sequin-collared classic button down shirt is a fresh way to wear this timeless look. Continue reading
