Work-wear: Black and White

Samosa POP presents Work-wear Mondays

Going to work is the hardest on Mondays. After a relaxing weekend, sometimes it gets tough to roll out of bed when all you want to do is kill the alarm clock and snuggle under the sheets. When you finally do get out of the bed, with barely anytime left to get dolled up, it seems to be one of the toughest tasks to decide what to wear. So here is my attempt to tackle this challenge and help start your Monday fashionably. I prefer my work looks simple and classic. But, trends are not just for off-hours. You can easily sneak in some current trends into your work outfit. To avoid an unhappy call from HR, keep the focus on one trend at a time and the look minimalistic.

Sunglasses storage

I had been meaning to do this for a while but, now finally had time this weekend to put together a little sunglass storage. Bought a nice big frame, took out the glass and put some wallpaper in and finally added some strings (tied up at the back of the frame) to hang my sunglasses on. Initially I went for only 2 strings but, clearly I have too many sunglasses and so I put in an extra string. For now, I have hung up only a bunch of my favorite sunnies and I am quite happy with the way it turned out!

Rainy days ahead

My favorite style tip of grey days is to include bright colors in your outfit. Here are some of my picks on how to stay dry and chic during the spring storms ahead!

You can throw it in your luggage and enjoy it at your destination without having to worry about ironing out the wrinkles. Goes swiftly from daytime sightseeing to a dinner date.
